Breathtaking Ladakh
Three days touring through Ladakh with driver Stanzin Mingur was an unforgettable experience. We went to Nubra valley, Pangong lake and the Indus valley monasteries in early April just after the major snow melt. Breathtaking vistas (quite literally) of glorious mountain scenery and very few tourists around! The driver was very reliable, careful and a cheerful travel companion. Highly recommended.

Super god oplevelse
Jeg kørte 5 dage med Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver i marts 2024, først 2 dage med Rigzen og derefter 3 dage med Stenzin. Hele forløbet var præget af super god kommunikation, punktlighed, venlighed og fleksibilitet. Allerede inden turene blev jeg uden videre opgraderet til en højere bil-kategori. Jeg ændrede en del i ruten undervejs, helt uden problemer. Begge chauffører lyttede til mine forslag til ændringer i ruten og kom med konstruktive råd og anbefalinger hvis jeg foreslog noget, som var uhensigtsmæssigt feks mht køretid eller overnatningssted. I Turtuk glemte jeg mine høretelefoner, og Stenzin udnyttede sit netværk til at få dem transporteret tilbage til Leh - en service langt over hvad man kunne forvente. Rigzen var fantastisk vidende og fungerede reelt som guide, en rolle jeg ikke havde forventet af en chauffør. Mine største anbefalinger.
Wonderful beautiful Ladakh
Had a unforgettable 5-day road trip in beautiful Ladakh. There's no better way to see and experience Ladakh, the local community and their warm hospitality. I came to Ladakh in January. I highly recommend if you are looking for a different experience. Phunchok was a great driver and found accommodations that met my needs and prices. We also adapted the trip to what I wanted to do, very flexible.
Wonderful Ladakh experience
I had a great experience with Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver. Sonam helped me through booking last minute and also guided on how to get required permits. Great communication from start. Rigzin was assigned as my guide and driver for 3 days. Rigzin is absolutely fabulous and made my Ladakh experience truly memorable. He has in depth knowledge of local history and culture, and is an excellent communicator, fluent in English. Despite being on a solo trip, I almost felt I had a travel companion and he is a delight to travel with. I felt like a local as he took me to local tea houses to enjoy local cuisine, sitting among people clothed in Tibetan attire, I felt I was totally immersed in the culture. Rigzin knows all the good spots for photography, he is super flexible, allowing people to see places at own pace. We shared common love for animals, and enjoyed giving food to the animals we found on our way. As it was dead of winter and most monasteries were closed, Rigzin spoke to the lamas to open the temples for us where we could find lamas on premises. His car is clean, and he is a safe and cautious driver. I will highly recommend Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver and Rigzin to anyone looking for reliable, hassle free, trustworthy service experience. 10/10
Fantastic experience
We used Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver for a 4 day trip around the region and could not have had a better experience. Communication worked well, the driver was punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly. We felt very safe in his hands even going through twisty and snowy passes. The car was clean, new, and comfortable. Our driver Rigzin helped arrange home stays during the 2 nights away from Leh and we felt well taken care of. An area of distinctiveness is this website that is so well laid out and easy to use for people who’ve never been to Ladakh and want to understand what to see. Kudos to the developer. We would absolutely use Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver again.
Fantastic driver; great trip
Rigzen was a fantastic driver. The roads were often rough and narrow, but he navigated them in our economy car, effectively. He anticipated my needs before I was aware of them. He is a wonderfully informed conversationalist. And he gracefully put up with an old woman for the week! I have since told everyone about Rigzen and Leh-Ladakh Taxi Drivers. Their website is comprehensive; they can put together any Ladakh experience in a reliable and economical manner! Thank you!
Seamless experience
We went with a group of 10 people and booked 3 category A cabs. Cabs were clean and drivers were very helpful and polite. We had a seamless smooth experience. Would come again to Leh Ladakh and will book with Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver.

One day with Leh-Ladakh driver
I used this service for (only) one day. Nothing negative to say about the service received. Excellent driver, excellent car, punctuality and....all good. The only negative point is the fact of having to reserve everything well in advance (10 days required). If there had been availability, I would definitely have used this service for several days.
Great tours with Leh Ladakh Taxi
I had a great time touring for 8 days in Ladakh. My driver Phunchok was very, very good; and very safe. For pictures see Instagram: hbk_explorer. The Leh Ladakh Taxi website is very good with lots of information. One item that needs an update is the chapter about the Inner Line Permit. You have to make 6 copies of the permit.

Around Ladakh
Sonam e i suoi collaboratori sono stati fantastici e molto presenti e disponibili. Abbiamo organizzato un giro attorno a Leh in taxi, è stato tutto perfetto perché il driver era a nostra disposizione senza limiti, noi ci siamo arrangiati per gli alloggi(ma potete farci aiutare). Il driver parlava inglese e si fermava ovunque volessimo durante il tragitto organizzato. Penso sia il modo ideale per vedere le cose più interessanti del Ladakh(di ciò che è raggiungibile in macchina). Il giro è durato 5gg. Aggiungo che sono molto convenienti. Ringrazio ancora Sonam per la disponibilità, ha reso speciale il nostro viaggio.
Best way to visit Ladakh
Very satisfied with the friendly service and good guidance of our driver Jigmet. We went on a 2 day trip to the pangong lake, on the way, Jigmet, took us to some well known and lesser known monasteries, we had good food and could adapt easily the trip to our needs. The car was in very good condition and was comfortable. Highly recommended

Great Tour
We had a spectacular drive through Ladakh. The scenery was incredible and we enjoyed it a lot. Our driver Ashraf was very friendly and tried to accomodate our wishes as best as he could. Two things that would improve the experience even more: more time at remote destinations (e.g Turtuk) and a bit more walking related activities to compensate for long drives.
Super 4-Tages Tour
Die 4-Tages Tour ins Nubra Velley bis nach Turtuk und zum Pangong Lake war super. Unser Fahrer Rigzen Gurmat hat die zum Teil holprigen Strasse sehr gut gemeistert. Er fuhr uns zu wunderschönen Plätzen und hat uns in Spangmik ein super Homestay empfohlen. Wir würden diese Tour und den Fahrer sofort wieder buchen.
A memorable adventure trip
The experience was awesome - starting from planning the trip where Sonam was a great help in deciding the places to visit, the tour to take, the hotel options for every place that we visited. She made sure we had a good trip from the time we planned the trip to the time we were on our way back for Pune. The one day Leh tour and the 4 days Nubra-Pangong-Tso Moriri tour was memorable and our driver Stanzin took great care of us and was an excellent gudie. We enjoyed the roadside small restaurants he stopped at for meals and snacks and got a flavour of the local cuisine and taste. A very helpful and courteous driver and companion. The 4 day tour was an experience of a lifetime and this was all possible because Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver was absolute professional in suggesting the itineraries and accommodation.

Zarezerwowalismy kierowce przez ta strone internetowa na 5 dni. Przejechalismy trasy Leh -Nubra Valley- Pangong Lake -Leh w 3 dni a pozniej Leh- Kargil-Srinagar w 2 dni. Podrozowalismy z kierowca o imieniu Tashi Gyaltsen. Byl bardzo mily, dobrze mowi po angielsku i ma wygodny samochod. Generalnie bylismy bardzo zadowoleni, Tashi opowiadal nam ciekawostki o regionie i kraju, organizowal wygodne noclegi i dbał o nasze bezpieczeństwo. Administrator strony odpowiada szybko na maile a takze na wiadomosci whatsapp.

The best tour of Ladakh
Our Driver Jigmet, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, very patient. Our tour was Indus Valley to Hemis with Chemrey, Indus Valley to Lamayuru, and Pangong Lake. We did this over three days, each day was full of breathtaking views. Thank you Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver, and most of all to Jigmet!
Wonderful memories of Ladakh
I went for a short trip to Ladakh with my wife and son with the aim of doing my 7th full marathon (and 1st here in Ladakh) and in the process enjoyed some wonderful moments of Ladakh. I would like to thank Mr Sonam and his so much experienced driver, Mr Tsewang Gyatso, as he guided us throughout this short 1-day journey to some of the most beautiful sites of Ladakh. Thanks a lot. Great Ladakh tour with Stanzin
I was intially sceptical to be honest to book taxi online for such a long tour, where the experience depends on the vehicle and driver also. But i was guided on whatsapp through the entire booking and even confirmed my choice of vehicle. I was glad to see the choice of vehicle on the 1 day tour to Lamayuru, but was also delighted to meet with Stanzin Mingur, the driver of our vehicle. He was patient with all our requests and suggested best possible itinerary. Thanks to you all for being thoughtful enough to provide with same vehicle and driver for our next 6 days tour of Nubra-Turtuk-Pangong even there was gap of 1 day between the two tours. We were even more delighted to show around by Stanzin again for 6 days.

Excellent roadtrip de 4 jours! Parfait.
Nous avons fait 4 jours de roadtrip au départ de Leh (Nubra, Pangong, Tso Moriri). Tout a été parfait: - voiture récente en excellent état et très confortable. - excellent chauffeur (Lobzang), très sympathique, à l'écoute et qui nous a appris beaucoup de choses. - très bons hébergements proposés et réservés par notre chauffeur (qui s'est occupé de tout). Le parcours proposé est optimal: les paysages et les lacs sont magnifiques, ainsi que les monastères visités. Je recommande vraiment cette agence.

I had selected two trips: 1. Nubra Valley 3 day tour, 2. Monasteries around Leh. I would highly recommend Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver for your travel plans in Ladakh. Everything is clearly communicated during the booking process. The taxi driver Tamchos was very knowledgeable and courteous. Very patient and never hurried us anywhere. The taxi was new and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our trip and will definitely use their services again when we travel to Ladakh.

這次訂了三個行第一是Nubra Valley and Turtuk,第二是兩天一夜去班公措，第三是從列城到斯里納加，Ali 是從Turtuk 來的所以對其路況非常的熟悉，然後再著我參觀村里的風土民情，由於是當地人所以你可以看到其他觀光客所看不到的一面，因為北北印的路況非常的險峻但因為Ali開車我非常的放心，而且本人非常的認真，把車裡打理的非常乾淨，所以下次去我只會選擇Ali當我的司機，在此非常謝謝Ali帶給我舒適以及安全的旅程。
Best driver and ride for Ladakh
We booked an Innova Crysta for Ladakh and went to Nubra and Pangong. The car was in great condition and we had no problems through the trip. Very comfortable when the roads were good. Our driver Paldan was a champ. He was very accommodating to all our requests and made sure we got to do everything we wanted.

Très belle découverte du Ladakh avec l'excellent chauffeur Rigzin. Leuke taxi trip door de Nubra vallei
Deze zomer een 4daagse taxi trip gemaakt door de Nubra vallei. Heel mooie ervaring met een vriendelijke taxi chauffeur die ons alle mooie plekjes heeft laten zien. De ritten over vaak niet geasfalteerde wegen zijn we duidelijk niet gewoon , maar voor de chauffeur geen enkel probleem. Ons hoogte punt was zeker Pangong Tso, prachtig meer en zeer leuke homestay!
Super Service!
Wirklich ein super Service - gute Buchung und dann wirklich ein netter Fahrer, der sich mit allem auskennt. Für alle die individuell die Region bereisen wollen ist das wirklich die beste Variante. Man kann die Route sehr flexibel wählen und mit dem Fahrer auch während des Tages umplanen. Und bei den Straßen dort ist es wirklich gut dass man jemanden hat der sich auskennt. Autos sind in gutem Zustand (Toyota Geländewagen). Vielen lieben Dank!
A Journey of a lifetime
We had a seamless, courteous, and friendly experience with the Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver team. Had booked the 3 different tours namely, Achi, Nubra Valley and Pangong lake and visited all these places along with my parents. Our driver was Tashi Nurbo who was very knowledgeable, respectful and funny! Each day we explored a new place and were mesmerized with beauty of Leh and Ladakh. As one can see snow capped mountains, cold dessert, river, green vegetation, lakes... I mean just name the terrain and you have it all in one place! I appreciate the team and Tashi who clarified all the queries upfront/during the trip and were able to accommodate all our requests. Would highly recommend to have Tashi as your driver and tour guide.

レーからパンゴン湖の一泊往復でお願いしました。 こちらの要求に従って、途中で見たいところに立ち寄ってくれました。また当日、本来のルートが冠水して通行不可になって多くの車途中でが引き返すなか、迂回ルートでの訪問を提案してくれました。100キロほどの遠回りで別料金はかかりましたが、念願のパンゴン湖に夕刻までに辿り着くことができました。感謝です。

Enjoyed our trip with Leh Ladakh taxi
We booked our trip only 2 weeks in advance, we had seen amazing feedback on the site, but you never know until you try for yourself. And i can attest, it was the best vacation trip we had so far. Our car got an amazing driver, he had great knowledge of terrain and local sights. He was completely flexible with our schedule. Definitely got more out than we paid for it. I dont know what other tours companies are offering, but if we visit again, we are definitely booking a longer tour package through this site.

너무나도 완벽하고 좋았던 레-라다크 택시 투어
2023년 8월 9일부터 8월 16일까지 택시투어를 하였습니다. 아추크가 운전기사였고 그는 친절하고 언제든지 우리의 요구에 응해주었습니다. 그리고 숙소도 좋은곳 가성비 괜찮은곳을 추천해주어 믿고 잘 다녔습니다. 저의 일행은 성인 남성 2명이였고 둘다 사진찍는걸 좋아해서 한군데에 오랜시간 머무르는 편이였습니다. 이런 저희 일행의 성향을 알아서 프리빗한 택시투어를 신청했어요 일행중 한명이 고산증이 좀 꽤나 나타났는데 다행히 미리 신청했던 산소통을 유용하게 잘 썼습니다. 저의 일행은 사실 여행에 있어서는 세미프로라 할정도로 여행을 많이 다녀봤어요 저는 36개국 정도 같이간 선배님은 25개국 정도 다녀왔습니다. 사실 초모리리로 나오는 7~8일 짜리 트레킹을 할려고 했었는데 제가 다리에 부상을 당하는 바람에 택시 투어를 하게되었는데 택시 투어가 더 훨씬 나은 선택이였다는걸 뒤늦게 생각했습니다. 택시투어를 해서 여러군데 많이 볼수가 있었던거죠. 아추크에게 다시한번 감사함을 표하며 그에게 안부를 전해주시기 바랍니다. ^^* 다음번에 라다크를 또 가게 된다면 그땐 Phuktal Gompa를 꼭 가고 싶고 당연히 이 회사를 이용하겠습니다.
Short trip to Nubra & Pangong
Our extended weekend trip to Ladakh (Leh-Nubra-Pangong) was made special with the help of a perfect itinerary by the company. Nubra Valley tour with Tundup
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre tour de 3 jours dans la vallée de Nubra avec un retour par le lac de Pangong. Notre conducteur Tundup a été très serviable. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu visiter les monastères de Hemis et autres le dernier jour en raison d'un glissement de terrain qui nous a retenus sur la route de Pangong pendant 2h30, mais Tundup a fait en sorte que nous puissions voir Thiksey, et toujours avec un grand sourire ! 🙂
LADAKH a través del lente de un 'Bolivian highlander'...
Gracias a un feriado corto a finales de Junio 2023, fui bendecido al poder retornar a la India después de exactamente 24 años! Ladakh siempre estuvo en mi ‘wish list’, y entre varias opciones, encontré a Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver como la mejor plataforma para mi objetivo principal, explorar lugares/culturas a través de la fotografía amateur (solo-traveler). Inicialmente, me llamó la atención su website, la cual brinda información bastante precisa y bien presentada. Otro plus es que, al tener tarifas definidas, uno se evita sorpresas al tiempo de hacer el booking respectivo. Mi ‘piloto de aventura’ fue Ashraf, muy buena mano en el volante y capaz de conducir un 2x2 como si fuese un 4x4!
A pesar de haber cubierto la mayoría de las atracciones, el tiempo me resultó corto por los lugares espectaculares y gente tan hospitalaria que abundan. Ojalá que la vida me permita volver a visitar Ladakh en invierno para experimentar nuevamente la paz y armonía que se respira en esta región de los Himalayas. Gracias… Totales!!

We have booked the taxi for 6 days to travel to nubra, pangong and tso moriri. Although the roads were difficult we enjoyed the ride. Dorjey is experienced driver who took us to all the locations.

ラダック旅行の1番の目的はパンゴンツォ湖で、片道6時間の悪路というまさに秘境というロケーションでしたが、時間通りのピックアップ、安全かつ快適な運転で満足しています。
Efficient service
The booking process is very efficient and quick. The team is also available on WhatsApp for any quick questions. The driver we booked turned up on time and he was polite and drove carefully. The driver was also flexible.
Wonderful service
I was hesitate to book a tour with Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver because I didn't really know anything about the company except what was on the internet.. I was not sure if it was safe to pay from Australia. Sonam from the custom service was so helpful and responsive. It made the decision making so much easier. I had a wonderful driver, Mingur who went out of his way to help me getting the permit to travel to Hanu village. I didn't know that I needed the permit to travel to Hanu village. Mingur managed to get me a pass whilst we were on the road. The whole trip was very smooth and trouble free. Mingur was very respectful and courteous. A memorable amazing trip ♥
Leh Ladakh Taxi was the best option to plan a trip in advance as it has a really well-made website with very useful information. We were initially wary about paying so much upfront, but we were reassured by Sonam’s professionalism. Although we tortured him with tons of questions via email :-)), he was very prompt and keen to answer all our queries. We first had a one-day trip from Leh to Lamayuru with driver Tsering S. who is a qualified guide with infinite knowledge about religions and customs. We really valued his expertise. He was also very friendly and a prudent driver. Then, we did an 8-day tour (Nubra, Turtuk, Pangong, Hanle, Tso Moriri) with driver Stanzin O. He was a very skilled driver and made us feel safe, despite the state of the roads! He gave us good advice on places to eat and stay. He had a great sense of humour and gave us a deep understanding of his way of life and culture and traditions of his region. He was so attentive to our needs that we felt really free to alter the planned journey. We were able to pay him extra for extending the itinerary and it was really worth it. Since we hadn’t booked the homestays in advance, it was easy to change our plans. This is the big bonus with Leh Ladakh Taxi. They have great suggestions of itineraries, but they are also extremely flexible compared to travel agents. We had such a wonderful time and experience touring Leh city, Nubra & Pangong with Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver, a special shout out to our guide-cum-driver Stenzin, such a gem of a person with absolutely incredible driving skills and super flexible human being. We booked a premium + category vehicle, which was readily provided to us as promised. The car was in top notch condition, the driver was also well versed with how to operate oxygen cylinder we had opted for, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our 4 days journey in the gorgeous territory of Ladakh! Tijdens het plannen van onze vakantie wouden we graag de Ladakh regio meenemen in de planning. Om het alleen te doen kan het bereizen van deze regio wat uitdagend zijn, daarom kwamen we al snel terecht bij Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver. Na het kiezen van de meerdaagse trips kwamen we in contact met de organisatie, waarbij we aan de hand van wat aanbevelen nog een aantal aanpassingen gedaan hebben aan de itinerary. Het contact verloopt gemakkelijk en ze staan graag paraat voor advies. Eenmaal aangekomen in Leh zijn we ook verder in contact gebracht met onze chauffeur Rigzen. Hij haalde ons de tweede dag op van het hotel en vanaf dat moment zijn we aan de trip begonnen. Rigzen was als chauffeur erg betrokken en meedenkend, en deed graag een stap extra. Uiteindelijk was hij meer mee als gids, dan als chauffeur wat we initieel verwacht hadden. Verder werden de extra verzoeken (het biertje voor onderweg) en zelfs de aanbevelingen voor hotels en homestays (in iedere prijsklasse) voor ons aanbevolen en geregeld. Onderweg voelde het veilig en geheel ontzorgd. Het meest uitzonderlijke: Na aangekomen te zijn in pangong lake en gezamenlijk met Rigzen een biertje te hebben gedronken, kwamen we met een spontane ingeving. We vroegen of het mogelijk was om een snachts hike te doen de bergen in om zo zonsopgang op het Pangong lake te kunnen bekijken. Rigzen bedacht zich geen moment, ging akkoord en om 12 uur snachts stonden we klaar voor de klim. Al met al hebben we een goede tijd gehad met een bekwame en vooral gezellige chauffeur/gids. De overige dingen: snacks tijdens het savonds bekijken van de duinen, of de nachtelijke hike was puur service en hoefde Rigzen (zelfs op aandringen) niets voor te hebben. Het was absoluut een hele bijzondere en gezellige week! Rigzen en de gehele organisatie hartelijk bedankt!!
On high
We had taken a several day tour through Ladakh, what I will never forget are many things. I had never seen a mountain, and here I was traversing them by car. What a marvellous job the India Boarder Roads Organisation have done at carving up this landscape; to make height passable, how to flatten. It was an experience and a joy, Ladakh is a calm place, where silence is the meter. This forces a certain reflection, as does a long car journey. The distances are short, but the heights high. The drivers know how to drive, they make life easy in a place where survival is difficult, a place where the landscape limits comfort, but what you are afforded is an experience unfound elsewhere. Take the oxygen, you may well need it. The driver allowed for us to stop upon request and detour where possible. I understand now why I cannot rent a car there, thankfully so. Enjoy the ride. To quote my driver: it is too much fun sir. He was correct.

Lac Pangong
Magnifique environnement avant d'atteindre ce fameux lac. Paysages époustouflants. Cela faisait la deuxième fois, nul doute que j'y reviendrai. La route a été beaucoup améliorée ce qui n'est pas négligeable. Le chauffeur est prudent et attentionné. Nous avons pu loger au bord du lac grace à ses connaissances et, à moindre frais. Reste du temps, nous voulions revoir l'Indus et Zangskar, cela n'a causé aucun problème. En amont, la communication avec le site à été parfaite, notamment pour la délivrance des permis. Merci, tout était parfait.

Fantastic, seamless tour
I heard about Leh-Ladakh taxi driver through a travel blog that I like to read (Third Eye Traveller) and am so glad that I did. From start to finish, everything was made so easy - from fast, friendly responses from Sonam when I had questions, to day-to-day travel with our driver, Rigzin. I also found their website to be one of the best sources of information prior to travel. Rigzin was fantastic! His driving skills are great, on roads that are not easy (for example, they can be very bendy and on one occasion the road was blocked due to melting glacier water but he managed to navigate us through the water once a JCB had come to work some magic). He also had the patience of a Saint, not passing any comment if we maybe took a long time at a site (because everywhere is so beautiful its hard to tear yourself away). He was knowledgeable, kind and ultimately like a Ladakhi family member during the tour. Probably the only thing that I would change would be not visiting Tso Kar at this time of year, seeing as it had dried up. Visiting Ladakh is a trip of a lifetime and you won't regret coming with Leh-Ladakh taxi driver!
Long trip but worth it
Phunchok was a champion on our tour of Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake. Totally flexible according to our needs; helped by making suggestions but was not pushy in any way; a safe driver and pleasant companion sharing Ladakhi music and culture with us. He took our daughter to the hospital when she needed care, even after a day of driving. Happy to have these memories as part of our visit to Ladakh.

Could be better
We (family of 4 with 2 kids), booked the 4 day tour to Nubra Valley with Turtuk and Pangong Lake. We came back to Leh on the 3rd day because my daughter was suffering from mountain sickness. On the 4th day we just did local sightseeing near Leh but didn't go to Pangong Lake (higher altitude not recommended for my daughter). Driver was good, but driver and company refused to partial refund money even though we didn't go to Pangong (they saved money on petrol for sure). Commercial gesture would have been appreciated, it's not our fault if my daughter got mountain sickness.

We took the tour from Leh to Pangong Tso and back with Motup as our driver. He was really good, drove well and answered all our questions about the places that we visited. He was our guide along the way, explaining the sights, showing us where to stop and eat, and also occasionally stopping wherever we wanted to so that we could take pictures. He was punctual and accommodated our changes in schedule without any complaints. Taxi tour services are a necessity in Ladakh if you don't have your own vehicle, and I have no hesitation in recommending Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver.
The best!
We took a tour from Leh to Alchi, stopping along the way at several other monasteries. Paldan drove us all the way and he was great company for the long drive. He is an excellent and careful driver, and very eager and proud to show you his beautiful home district of Ladakh. He was very patient, answered all our questions, and added his own explanations and guidance whenever appropriate. I'm glad he was assigned to us for that trip and wish he'd been available for the other tours as well that we'd done during our holiday.
Extremely happy with the Services
Thank you Leh Ladakh taxi and the amazing Stanzin. We had booked a one day Sham Valley tour and a 8 day Nubra - Pangong - Hanle - Tso Moriri tour. Stanzin drove us around for both and we couldn't be happier with the services. He reached the pick up location before time each day and was very helpful in every way, starting from helping us find a cobbler to helping us customise our itinerary based on our interests to recommending the best eating joints. Deux superbes semaines au Ladakh
Nous avons passé deux superbes semaines au Ladakh avec au programme la vallée de l'Indus, la vallée de la Nubra, les lacs Pangong, Tso Moriri (magnifique) et Tso Kar, puis le trajet via la route mythique jusqu'à Manali. Sonam, par e-mail, est de très bons conseils ! Il a su nous orienter au plus vite, selon ce que l'on cherchait, et a toujours vu juste. Organisation impeccable. Un grand merci à notre super chauffeur Jigmet qui s'est occupé de tout pour nous. Il parle couramment anglais et nous a permis de vivre des expériences inoubliables, notamment en logeant chez l'habitant et en nous permettant d'échanger avec les locaux. Le Ladakh est merveilleux et nous recommandons vivement cette région et cette agence.

We were 3 girlfriends on a long awaited trip. The anticipation was high and TBH it was better than expected. We had Stanzin as our driver and he was so funny, easy to communicate and very active. We are glad he managed to survive amongst us girls :p Booking the taxi service was also pretty easy and admin are available via WhatsApp, makes life easy when you’re trying to make this happen from another country. Full Ladakh tour
We loved our Ladakh tour! We were taken to all the main places, saw beautiful sceneries and experienced the local life by staying at local people's houses. Definitely recommend it! One thing to be mindful of: in May is still very cold. Just one remark: there aren't many activities to do by the lakes, especially if it's cold. So I think it would be better to do these stops in the morning and then continue with the tour.
A dream trip to Ladakh
Trip to Ladakh was a dream come true. It was more smooth and hassle free with Leh Ladakh taxi service. The tours are well curated covering all places in Ladakh. Booked four tours with them and it extremely good. Ashraf, our driver was bit shy i think initially but he opened up and was friendly from second tour onwards 😊 We didn't want anyone who doesn't talk at all or talks a lot and he was the perfect balance. Lol..showed us Ladakh with loads of patience and answered all my queries 😁 spotted some animals and birds too for me to photograph. Incredible memories
Namgail was an amazing driver who helped create an experience of a lifetime. He navigated all the roads expertly, despite the extensive disruption caused by large scale construction and renewal of roads. He was also incredibly helpful in organising places to stay, very easy going, and most importantly, he drove safely. I would highly recommend having Namgail as your driver if you're planning a trip around Ladakh.
Awesome 3 days trip
Just came back from a trip to Ladakh in the first week of May. It was a 3 days trip and I wasn't sure if I could cover much. But thanks to Ladakh Taxi for being so flexible in adjusting my schedule so I could aclamatise myself and also cover a day trip around Leh, Khardungla and Nubra valley second day and Nubra to Pangong 3rd day. Special thanks to our driver Punsuk Tashi for being so patient with us and allowing us to make innumerable pit stops to admire the landscape, dip our fingers in the blue water of the Shayouk river or streams. At some point he was our photographer and DJ. He is also a skilled driver specially navigating through the heavy snowfall at Changla on our way back to Leh. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and views and our road trip through Ladakh. Thuk je che! I hope I got that right!

We booked 2 tours with Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver. First we went to Lamayuru and Kargil during 2 days. Then we went to Nubra valley Turtuk and Pangong lake during 4 days. 3 day Ladakh trip
I did an online booking before my trip. It’s a very good and great deal if you go in a group you can share the cab fare. Though I paid alone because I visited in March which is off season month and not much people would like to visit due to weather or expensive food or closed shops, instead, I enjoyed my time with my wife. Usually season starts from mid April and what I heard food is cheaper at that time. Cab driver was legend named ashraf. They know a lot about the area as they are local drivers. It was good to hear about Leh from ashraf while travelling, very cooperative.
Frozen Pangong
Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver helped us find the right trip at very short notice and recommended a great driver. Phunchok comes from a village around Pangong Tso so it was great to have his local knowledge. He drove very skillfully and safely on the snowy mountain passes, and was flexible with timing. An added bonus for us was that the lake was frozen, it was off season and so very quiet.

We booked for a 5 day trip with Leh Ladakh taxi driver. The driver, Sonam, is a really nice guy. He was always on time and he was such a great help throughout the trip. We never faced any problem communicating with him. We went during winter and had experienced snowfalls. Sonam, being a very skilled driver, took care to ensure a comfortable drive in bad weather. Priceless Experience
I chose Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver to visit Lamayuru from Leh and I am so glad I did. They have been so helpful even before doing the reservation and afterwards, answering any question I had since I was visiting a Land I don't know (thank you Sonam for your constant and prompt assistance). The experience was Amazing in particolare thanks to my driver Phunchok. In the morning I was feeling a little unwell because of altitude and he cared I was feeling good all the time. He also took his time to arrive at destination safely since there was snow on some parts of the roads. The scenery was just breathtaking all way long, with Ladakh mountains around and have the chance to visit the deserted monasteries covered with snow was a priceless experience. Thank you Phunchok for taking me to Rizong and Lamayuru :)

His calm approach combined with his driving skills and knowledge of the hills makes him the perfect driver to have during high altitude road journeys. He can speak both in English as well as in Hindi and local language. Had an amazing time in Ladakh. We did a 9-day tour covering Leh - Khardung La - Diskit - Hunder - Yarab Tso - Panamik - Sumur - Shayok - Tangtse - Pangong (Spangmik) - Tsaga La - Hanle - Tso Moriri (Korzok) - Hemis - Stakna - Thiksey - Shey - Stok - Leh. Lovely experience in peaceful Ladakh
Everything had worked as it was planned. Drivers were on time and know the area and the best cafes. The driver for Nubra Valley has amazing driving skills on the way to Pangong and back the way he drove was impressive. It was a 10/10 experience, and I would love to choose Leh-Ladakh taxi Driver again. It was the best experience with a cab booking service with a driver in India. A suggestion from me is that sending a message to the customer when Driver gets assigned will be very helpful.

This whole experience dealing with this company has been fantastic from the start until the end. The communication via email was clear and timely and the driver and car were very good. I faced some challenges since a flight was cancelled and i arrived a day later but everything was solved by them in the best way possible. One of the best trips of my life.
De hele ervaring met dit bedrijf was geweldig van start tot einde. De communicatie via email was erg duidelijk en altijd erg snel qua antwoorden. De chauffeur sprak Engels en was zeer bedreven op de weg, de auto was erg goed en was uitgerust met een zuurstoftank. Ik had wat tegenslag op de vlucht naar Ladakh, de eerste vlucht was gecancelled en ik kwam een dag later aan, maar alles was uitstekend ingepland en opgelost door het team. 10 fabelhafte Tage in Ladakh
Wir (Familie, insgesamt 7 Personen) waren Anfang Oktober 2022 für 10 Tage in Ladakh unterwegs - ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Die Vorbereitung war Dank des Teams von Lehladakhtaxis.com sehr einfach. Amazing Experience end to end
We booked all our day trips and sight seeing through Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver. We got very reasonable rates that were transparently shared beforehand. All information was shared over mail as well. Upon reaching, our driver was Jaggu. He was the one taking us for all the sightseeing and museums and monasteries and to Pangong. He made our trip so much fun. He shares stories, knows literally everyone in the city and even in neighbouring towns. Very seasoned driver. Gave us recommendations to acclimatize, stopped at amazing places, be it for taking photos or for food. Very seamless experience. Definitely recommend the service and the driver.

Amazing Ladakh explored on wheels
We had an awesome experience exploring Ladakh with Leh-Ladakh taxi driver. The booking process was very smooth and driver details were made available 24 hours before the trip. Ashraf, our trip driver is an absolute gem of a person. He made us feel at home and attended to all our needs. We had booked two tours; one-day Sangam and Leh city sight seeing and a five day Nubra Valley-Pangong-Hanle-Tso Moriri tour. We had a medical emergency in between and had to abort the tour mid way and return back to Leh. Ashraf accompanied us all the way back and was available for the next day as well in case we needed help. It was such a heart warming gesture. Great Trip Of Ladakh
We had a great time in Ladakh. Thanks to Doarjey who took us around and showed the beautiful Ladakh. He is a very skilled driver and we felt very safe with his driving. Our plans had to change erratically due to the weather. But the taxi service and Doarjey were very accomodative. Our trip to Khardungla was made on the spot and Doarje took us without any problems. When Chung la pass closed down due to bad weather, Doarje suggested an alternate lake in the south. The trip farther than planned, but Doarje drove without a break to complete the trip on the same day. I highly recommend the taxi service and the driver.

We were pleasantly surprised with the level of professionalism of this taxi service! Everything, right from pick-up till our drop was smooth. The driver of the Innova Mr.Rigzin Gurmat was really a gentleman and was ever so kind and helpful towards us. He would patiently wait for us eveytime we had to go anywhere. Fantastic experience with a great Ladakhi company - professional and supportive
I had originally booked my trips in early January 2020 for a September trip in that year until along came Covid. This wonderful company - and Sonam and Padma in the administration need a special mention - were supportive over two and a half years allowing me to carry the credits I had paid forward. Their website is comprehensive and extremely professional and can help you organise your trips within Ladakh. They were always extremely responsive when I had questions - and I had quite a few! As to the trips themselves they were exactly what we were after with a combination of wonderful landscapes and historical monuments. Our driver, Ashraf, was exactly what we wanted - friendly without being intrusive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and I have told Sonam and Padma to allow future customers to contact me if they wish.
A trip of a life time
What an incredible month…..all made the better with our incredible driver Stanzin. We had a month to travel Ladakh and quite honestly it was made the better with Stanzin as our driver. He organised everything from accommodation, to good food choices to extensions of our inner line permits. When the road to Manali became inaccessible- he organised our trip with Dawa to Srinagar. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone even remotely thinking of coming to Ladakh. Nothing was too much trouble for Stanzin……even a Mum and 3 teenage boys! Thanks again “mate” you were amazing!

Ladakh Love
Julllay! This place is so magical and one of my new favorite places in the world. LL Taxi was so helpful organizing our trip. They respond quickly, give great advice planning and also have great info to keep you healthy in the high altitude. I had no idea how much it was going to effect us. They offer O2 bottles for the tours I highly recommend adding even if you think you won’t need. It’s a small price to have just in case. Can’t not stress enough the importance of staying in Leh for a few days before trekking around I really did not understand until we arrived. We had the Best driver- Jaggu, we left feeling like we gained a new family member. The website will give you loads of good info and the hotel list is also good quality. Excellent Trip & very helpful organizer and driver
It was a great trip with our cab driver Mr Phunchok Tashi. We booked 5 days tour through this site & not sure how we are going to manage it since I was visiting 1st time to ladakh but our guide and driver helped us a lot in making this trip a great hit. I would recommend this site over other platforms such as makemytrip, goibibo etc since its economical & they have best people to guide & help.
Wonderful Ladakh
As we are approaching Ladakh, the scenic beauty of the area charmed us. A typical landscape with barren mountains and green valleys is not seen in any other areas other than in Ladakh.. The people are so humble, polite and helpful to us particularly the operating manager Mr. Rinchen and the taxi driver Mr. Stanzin Dawa who showed us all the important tourist spots particularly the Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake is a beauty. One must visit Ladakh and must not miss Pangong Lake. I appreciate the government of Ladakh and BRO for maintaining the roads leading to all these tourist spots. The airport is crowded and needs expansion.
Short and sweet trip
Enjoyed a short and sweet trip to Leh Ladakh during this independence day long weekend in 2022. Covered Leh local sightseeing, most of the monasteries and the Pangong Lake. My driver was Gyaltson for all my trips and he was a very experienced and confident driver. He was able to navigate difficult terrain with great ease. I tipped him well because he was literally a life saver. Opting for the oxygen cylinders and taking the time to get acclimatized is very important and highly recommended. One thing is that we couldn't cover Chemrey monastery which is not really one of the main ones due to my health issues while descending from Pangong Lake. It was better to be safe. Maybe next time. You can rest assured and enjoy a great trip with these folks.

Highlight of our trip!
The tours we did (Monastery & Pangong Lake) were the highlight of our two week India trip. Our driver, Lobzang, was always on time, professional, and an all around great driver! We wish we had more time in Leh to do some of the additional tours. Highly recommend both tours and the company in general!

We did a 4 day tour with Namgail as our driver. The entire experience was very positive. The car was well maintained and clean. Namgail was an excellent driver and guide. Safe, confident and attentive to our needs. He was very helpful in suggesting places to eat, see, stop etc. he also spoke Hindi and English very well, which helped a lot. I highly recommend Namgail as your guide. Also, I worked with several tour agencies and hotels on this trip. And I can honestly say that Leh-Ladakh taxi was the best experience of the lot. Great Service !
We used the services of Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver for a 2-day transfer from Leh to Srinagar, including monasteries. Having spent 2 weeks elsewhere in India we were a little bit concerned about car safety before our trip but this journey was definitely perfect ! The car (Premium Category) was superb, and our driver was super friendly, always available for a quick stop whenever we wanted to, and he was a master expert of the infamous ZojiLa Pass. We were caught in massive traffic right in the middle of the pass, which could have been scary given the height of the cliffs and the extreme weather conditions, but he made us feel safe and he made his way through like no one else.

Ο,τι κι αν πω γι αυτόν τον άνθρωπο θα είναι λίγο! Πάντα με το χαμόγελο, με φροντίδα για την παραμικρή μας ανάγκη, ακούραστος στο τιμόνι και τόσο μα τόσο επιδέξιος σε όλες τις συνθήκες. Ένας πραγματικός ακροβάτης της ασφάλτου! Ακόμα δεν μπορώ να πιστέψω πόσα εμπόδια κατάφερε να περάσει με απόλυτη επιτυχία με το όχημα του, ένα Eeco Van, εκεί όπου άλλοι είχαν κολλήσει για ώρες. Unser Fahrer Elias war super. Er hat uns sicher von leh über Kargil / Nubra bis nach manali gebracht. Wir haben uns mit seiner Art zu fahren immer sicher gefühlt. Er war immer pünktlich und wir konnten uns auf ihn verlassen. Beim planen der Tour hat uns die Agentur auch sehr gut geholfen. Das gute was, dass wir nur ein Auto für uns zu 2. hatten. Wonderful Ladakh tour with Mr. Nawang
We, group of 4 friends, just completed a 6 days Ladakh tour with Leh Ladakh taxi. We chose this company because we felt like they are professional and genuine. And it reflected in our whole tour. From the point of enquiry to completion of our trip, their services were excellent on all aspects. Driver Mr. Nawang was like a brother to us. He is not only a great driver, he is also an amazing photographer and guide. He guided us to every places and managed time efficiently to cover all the places. His driving through rough roads was just perfect and safe. Mr. Nawang made our whole trip smooth and comfortable. The vehicle (Tata Aria) was very well maintained and felt like new one. Cleanliness of taxi during the tour, despite the fact that Ladakh is very dusty, was very good (vehicle was regularly cleaned). We just loved the trip and Ladakh is really amazing. Will surely recommend the taxi service to our family and friends.

Amazing Taxi Service/Driver for Leh-Ladakh Tour!!
We had a overall very good experience with Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver for our 7-day Ladakh tour (Leh, Sham Valley, Nubra, Pangong, etc.) during May-2022. All the information is available on web-site. The on-line booking is very easy and safe. They had replied to all queries by WhatsApp message and e-mail. The service is very professional. Mr. Rinchen (operations manager) was always available on WhatsApp-message for communication. Our car (Mahindra Xylo) was good - clean, quite comfortable, well equipped (music, oxygen cylinder etc.), and well maintained throughout the tour. The driver of the car (Mr. Phunchok) was great, knowledgeable, flexible and always on time. He had drove the car very safely during the full tour. Overall, a very good experience.

Solo trip - A safe and enjoyable trip
I was a solo female traveller and hence I was a bit worried about my safety. But my driver Tsering Dorjay took great care of me and ensured my safety throughout my 5 days trip. Also he brought me to the various sight-seeing spot as planned and was well knowledgeable about the place and its history. Great Trip
We took the 2 Day sham valley and 5 day Nubra + pangong + tsomo riri with Stanzin, driver. We had a comfortable drive with driver inmates if us into the cultural highlights as we proceeded in the tour. Magnificent Ladakh with Dawa (driver)
First things first, we are a family who have always booked all trips via MMT to ensure excellent service throughout; however, this time after doing some research and reading reviews on this agency's website, we decided against MMT, and went ahead with Leh-Ladakh taxi driver.
We read great reviews with Dawa's name popping up multiple times and requested the agency for him, and luckily found his availability on the dates that we had in mind. He was a big part in making our trip flawless.
Our trip started from Leh, going to Nubra, Pangong, Tso Moriri, and back to Leh.
Talking about Dawa, few of the things that made the trip a success and memorable one:
1. Absolutely no fuss about what music you want to play at what pitch (he will connect your phone via Bluetooth)
2. Top 1 percentile driving skills (you can sit in the car with absolutely zero concern throughout the journey)
3. Maintains a super clean and comfortable car Xylo

Great experience
It was a smooth ride with Leh ladakh taxi. Our driver Nawang was especially notable and was one of the main reasons why this trip was so great. He was not only a skilled driver, but very helpful and accommodating to all our needs. The car was comfortable too. The only thing that can be improved would be the customer service. Though it was fast, it would be much better to answer the questions with a personal touch rather than just directing to some links everytime.
Leh-Ladakh with Lakpa Bhaiya
Recently we made a trip to Leh and Ladakh. Leh-Ladakh Taxi gave us a driver who was not only well behaved but also had a very good driving skills. He also served us for local guide giving us good advice and tips. He was a ready to help person. Through out the trip from day one to the last day of trip he was more of a local friend than just a driver. We had smooth trip and never felt tired even on the day we went from Nubra Valley to Pongong. We were traveling with our 5 year old child who normally doesn't mix up with strangers but with Lakpa he was very comfortable and friendly. If you even happen to make trip to Leh and around and looking for good driver with good driving skills Lakpa Bhaiya would be an excellent choice.
Shared taxi tour to Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake
My wife and booked a shared taxi with another couple on this platform. Everything was really well organized. We could contact the other couple before the trip and we received the driver’s phone number too. The trip was amazing. Driver came to our hotel in Leh and we first headed to Nubra Valley (Hundar sand dunes, Diskit…). The next day, we went to Pangong Lake and we spent the night there, it was memorable experience. On the third day, we visited Hemis monastery and some other interesting places. We had a wonderful time in Ladakh and we are grateful to Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver for organizing this shared taxi tour.

We had an excellent experience with Leh Ladakh Taxi. The driver Rinchen is a great person, very kind, helping, friendly and honest. Our trip was amazing thanks to him and his knowledge of Ladakh. He could recommend the best places to stop for food, best locations to click amazing pictures. The vehicle was maintained very well, in superb condition. Good Booking Process - Inexperienced Driver
I booked a 2days plus an 8days trip and found the booking process, the communication with the office staff and the payment procedure very good. However I was not so happy with my driver then. I got a very young and inexperienced driver whose English was on a low standard. First half of the trip he was late in the mornings until he 'learned' that a paying customer should not have to wait every morning for the driver getting ready. However he knew how to handle the car and also the rough roads in Ladakh, and we had never a flat tire or so. And we arrived back in Leh safe and sound. He was just too inexperienced and though could not offer the service that was paid for.

It was an amazing experience traveling in Ladakh. The tour started from Leh airport where we met our driver Rigzin who took us all around Ladakh during 5 days. First, we went to Sham and we visited Leh. Thereafter, we went to Nubra, Turtuk, Shayok, Pangong, Hemis and then back to Leh. We really had a good time travelling with our driver Rigzin bhaiya as he is a great guide too. He stayed patient and helpful throughout our trip. J’ai visité le Ladakh sur 4 jours en août 2021. J’ai commencé par une excursion d’une journée à l’ouest de Leh (nombreux monastères comprenant notamment Basgo, Likir et Alchi) suivie d’un circuit de 3 jours comprenant la vallée de la Nubra, lac Pangong et d’autres monastères le long de l’Indus. Je voyageais seul, il était donc essentiel pour moi d’avoir un bon chauffeur parlant bien anglais, et ce fut le cas car j’ai eu la chance d’être accompagné par Jigmet, un chauffeur fort sympathique avec un très bon niveau d’anglais avec qui j’ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à discuter et découvrir le Ladakh pendant ces 4 jours. They cancelled the booking!!!
Don't book with Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver, they are totally UNRELIABLE!!! They cancelled our booking one day before because the driver had to quarantine for covid. The problem is that they did not provide any replacement driver with Xylo and they wanted us to take an economy car instead! We refused so they just refunded our money and we were left in Leh without vehicle for our tour to Nubra and Pangong starting the next day. It was big trouble to find a car at the last minute. Finally, we managed to find a car through a small travel agency but we had to pay more expensive. This is really unprofessional to cancel bookings like this, especially our booking was confirmed since June. I attached the screenshot of the whatsapp discussions and confirmation email.

Rugged Beauty

Marlgé l'enneigement, les routes et les cols menant à la vallée de la Nubra et au lac Pangong étaient ouvertes et notre chauffeur était parfaitement préparé et équippé pour nous conduire en toute sécurité sur ces routes difficiles. Nous avons passé un très bon moment avec lui et il nous a même invité chez lui à la fin du voyage alors que tout le monde se préparait au Losar (le nouvel an ladahki). I have nothing but positive things to say about Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver. The reservation was very easy and clear, many tours available with a lot of flexibility and options. We booked a trip for 5 days, first going to Lamayuru and then to Tso Moriri side. For Tso Moriri, we decided to take oxygen cylinder for extra safety and this was provided to us without any problem. Very friendly and informative driver during the tour and car was comfortable and very clean. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends if they want to visit Ladakh.

Unforgettable Ladakh Trip!!
I travelled to Leh Ladakh in October and had booked a taxi online with Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver in advance. The process was seamless and the driver (Chamba) contacted me and reached before time for the pickup. I must say the ride was extremely comfortable and Chamba was helpful about places, pictures, stays, food and he also shared a lot of Wisdom about Ladakh people, culture and history that has added to my overall experience. The places covered in the itinerary were comprehensive and cannot be better than this. I really enjoyed and recommend to have taxi booked online in advance esp during peak season, it cuts lot of hassle.

Zaradi stiske s časom sva se s kolegico odločili, da za obisk doline Nubra in jezera Pangong najameva šoferja. Veseli sva bili, da sva izbrali Leh-ladakh Taxi Driver, ker je vse potekalo kot mora. Najin šofer Rigzen je bil vedno točen, prijazen in prilagodljiv. Najbolj naju je razveselilo, da se je izkazal tudi kot turistični vodič, še posebno, ko nama je razkazal kotičke izven tipičnih turističnih poti.

We first headed to the Nubra valley via Khardung La pass. Next day we went to Pangong lake via Shayok road and we finally came back to Leh after a few monastery visits on the third day. A trip to remember
I had a private taxi for 4 days with Thinley, a driver. I visited "Indus valley to Hemis with Chemrey" and "Indus valley to Lamayuru and Kargil". Thinley picked me up from hotel on time. He is a very skilful driver. He drives slow and smoothly so that I can enjoy beautiful scenery along the trip. We discussed a few topics during the drive and I feel like we have become friends. Great time in Ladakh with Driver Nawang
My Girlfriend and I spent 10 days in ladakh and within in this time embarked on a three day driving tour from Leh to Nubra Valley and Pangong, a long journey but well worth it for the incredible sights and experiences. Our driver Nawang made the driving as easy as possible for us stopping for photos and food whenever asked and acting as our guide when not driving: showing us interesting geological features, temples, food spots and helping find cheap good quality accomodation each night with ease. The best drive in Ladakh
We had a fantastic time with Rigzin and thank you so much to him. He was also patient, caring, funny, respectful and very helpful, he spoke great English. He was a careful driver and made us feel at ease. He showed us the best monasteries and lots of learning about Buddhism. Lovely to see the animals and mountains of Tibet so close. The journey here is amazingly breathtaking with extreme landscapes, rivers, tiny villages. Beautiful location and well worth the effort to get there. Definitely will travel again with Rigzin in the future.

Grâce à Lobsang notre chauffeur pour nos 3 excursions nous avons parcouru cette contrée magnifique mais aux routes en piteux états dans des conditions optimums. Toujours attentif, serein et serviable nous avons pu profiter de la vallée de la Nubra, du lac Pangong puis en dernier lieu du merveilleux lac Tsomoriri. Et bien sûr de tous les monastères au pied desquels il nous attendait patiemment. Many thanks to our driver Mr Norphel. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about Ladakh, he can explain everything about the culture and Buddhism. Mr Norphel is very flexible and he was always accommodating what our group requested. Ladakh is heaven and it was a dream come true to do this wonderful trip with Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver. The company is very helpful and provided a customized itinerary that covered everything we wanted. First we visited the Indus valley between Leh and Kargil, we spent nights in beautiful villages and discovered many monasteries. One of the highlights was the morning prayers at Lamayuru, unforgettable experience. Then we went to the Nubra valley, up to the village of Turtuk near the border with Pakistan. Finally, we went to Tso Moriri, a breathtaking lake at 4500m altitude, the most impressive landscape I have ever seen. There, we stayed in Korzok village and we met the nomad families. Ladakhi families are so friendly with a great sense of hospitality, we really enjoyed drinking cups of tea with them! Reliable & on-time
Booked through the internet with ease. I arranged a drop-off at Tso Moriri, then pick-up 8 days later. Drivers were on-time, friendly & polite, offering to stop in each village for refreshments if needed. I was a little nervous about the pick-up, being 6 hours from Leh & a flight the next day, but no problem - my driver actually drove to Tso Moriri the night before & found me in the village an hour before our meeting time, before I was even looking for him. I definitely recommend this service.

Juley! Great work starting with the website to do booking until the very end. Our driver, Mr. Tsewang Rigzen, was on time for pick up at the hotel, very experienced navigating the unforgiving roads, friendly providing info about the area which made the trip more fun. I would highly recommend this taxi service. One comment would be about the phone number to reach in the website which was often busy. Able to connect via email only. Rigzin is the BEST!
We had the most amazing driver ever, Rigzin, who was multi-talented. He served as a guide at the temples we visited, and walked with us, as he is also a trekking guide. He is hospitable, funny, kind, engaging and hip. He drove us from Leh to Pangong Lake, an amazing journey in which parts of the road were very rough. His private taxi van was super clean and comfortable and he was so thoughtful about stopping when we wanted to take photos, buy fruit, have tea or watch yaks. Rigzin was such a good sport, always willing to press on to the next adventure. We had such an amazing time on our three days with him. He truly was the best driver of our trip. All our other drivers (hired through another agency) never left their cars to accompany us as a guide. We felt extremely lucky to have Rigzin - he made our trip.

De 3-daagse tour Nubra valley en Pangong lake met Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver was een schot in de roos. Het mail verkeer vooraf verliep zeer snel en heel concreet. Onze chauffeur Lobzang deed er alles aan om het ons naar de zin te maken. Hij was heel stipt, hoffelijk, beleefd en reed heel voorzichtig. Hebben ons geen enkel moment onveilig gevoeld op de toch soms wel gevaarlijke bergpassen. Alle dank aan Lobzang! Twijfel niet en boek met een gerust hart deze organisatie.

4 days in Western Ladakh
We booked a tour in Western Ladakh with Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver. On the first day, we went to the festival at Phyang monastery where we attended religious ceremonies and Cham dances (dances performed by Buddhist monks wearing colourful costumes and masks). Then, during the next 3 days, we visited monasteries (Alchi, Likir, Lamayuru, Rizong and more), we did hiking near Rizong in a small valley leading to Yangthang village (half day) and we visited the beautiful and quiet Dha-Hanu valley where we spent one night in a small village. Our driver and guide, his name is Dawa, was very very good. He was very flexible and he gave us great suggestions on how to organize the trip the best way. We had not booked any accomodation in advance so we had full flexibility to adapt the itinerary during the trip, Dawa was very helpful and he helped to find nice homestays where we could have a real authentic time with local families. Thank you Dawa for making this trip a memorable one.

Nous étions deux et nous nous sommes joints à deux autres personnes pour faire le trajet de Leh à Manali en taxi collectif. Nous avons fait ce trajet sur trois jours et nous en avons profité pour faire un crochet par le lac Tsomoriri qui vaut vraiment le coup. Notre chauffeur "Ringchain", je ne suis pas sûre de l'écriture, était sympathique, intéressant, toujours souriant. Les paysages étaient merveilleux et nous avons trouvé les Ladakhis très accueillants.

My friend and I engaged a taxi and driver for two one-day trips. Due to a misunderstanding on our part concerning permits, we had to swap the scheduled days for each trip. The company handled this with ease, and also assisted us to get the required permits at very short notice, which enabled us to take both trips. We thoroughly enjoyed them. The content of each trip was excellent - we saw so much of interest. The driver was very skilled and we felt safe at all times. We loved Leh Ladakh, and would seek to return.

Nubra valley and Pangong lake tour in 3 days with share taxi
My girlfriend and I shared a taxi with an Indian couple for a 3 Days 2 Nights tour to Nubra valley and Pangong lake. I'm very happy that I found this website, it's very useful if you want to share a car for a trip in Ladakh. Transport is not cheap in Ladakh so splitting the cost with other people is an interesting option. We were 4 passengers with the driver in the car and we had plenty of space. The booking process was very clear and straightforward, we met our driver at our guesthouse in Leh and the whole tour was very enjoyable. Thumbs up for this website and I encourage everyone to use this share taxi service which is good for both your wallet and the planet!
Magical week exploring Ladakh :)
We (a group of 5 friends) spent a magical week exploring Ladakh with Tashi, the most awesome driver ever! The region is so beautiful with the most amazing landscapes we had ever seen. One of us had little bit of trouble with the altitude at the beginning, Tashi was so kind and he adjusted the itinerary for a better acclimatization and my friend was given oxygen. Everything was pefect and we enjoyed very much the Ladakhi music in the car too :) Thank you so much Tashi!

Leh-Ladakh tour for 7 days with Toyota Innova car
We spent 7 days in June exploring the Nubra valley (Diskit, Hunder sand dunes, Turtuk, Sumur, Spangmik), Pangong lake, Tso Moriri lake, Tso Kar lake and the monasteries of the Indus valley (Hemis, Stakna, Thiksey, Shey, Stok). It was a truly amazing trip thanks to our driver Namgail who was so helpful. We had not booked rooms in advance so this gave us the freedom to adjust the itinerary as we wanted and Namgail was very flexible about this. He helped us to find a nice guesthouse or homestay each night, he has a lot of contacts in each village and we could live a truly authentic village experience thanks to him, meeting families, learning cooking, playing games… We will never forget this wonderful time we had in Ladakh and we hope we can travel again with Namgail in the future. Site internet très bien fait, la réservation est facile est claire. Sur place, tout est géré de manière professionnelle. Le chauffeur est venu nous chercher à notre hôtel et nous a accompagné pendant 5 jours (même chauffeur pour les 2 excursions comme nous l'avions demandé). Nous avons trouvé cela beaucoup plus avantageux et simple de réserver directement sur ce site plutôt que de passer par une agence. Nous avons obtenu nos permis (Protected Area Permits) très facilement le premier jour à Leh et notre chauffeur nous a aidés à trouver un hôtel sans problème chaque soir (c'étaient les points qui nous posaient question avant notre départ). Nous étions une famille de 4 et avions choisi un véhicule de catégorie B, la voiture était confortable et adaptée au terrain.

Nubra Pangong Tsomoriri loop
Kudos to Leh-Ladakh Taxi Driver team for organizing a trip of a lifetime. We (6 girls) did a 6 days 5 nights road trip in some of the most remote places of the Himalayas. So many cherishable memories will stay with us forever. Camel ride at Hunder sand dunes, Shayok valley, breathtaking Pangong lake, the end of the world Tsaga La road, the majestic Tsomoriri… I can’t even say which part was best, the whole trip was like a dream come true.
Photography tour in Ladakh with an exceptional driver
I had a private taxi for a week and the driver's name was Ali. We went to Nubra valley, Pangong lake, Tso Moriri lake and Tso Kar lake. I was in Ladakh for a landscape photography project and Ali was extremely helpful and patient in this regard, sometimes waiting with me during an hour or two at the same location for the perfect light! He knows the region like the back of his hand and helped me to find the best photo spots. I was pleased to realize that Ali actually has a good eye for photography and composition and he showed a lot of interest in learning more about the technical aspects of photography. We had such a good time together clicking pictures. I also did a few portrait shootings and Ali assisted me in communicating with the villagers and the nomads. This was a rich cultural experience as well as a lot of fun! Juley Ali for the beautiful photos I came back with and for the fantastic time I had with you!

Nous avons visité 6 monastères bouddhistes sur 3 jours, celui d'Alchi nous a le plus impressionné pour la qualité et la finesse de ses peintures murales. Nous avons également pris le temps de nous balader dans les villages, le chauffeur a été de bon conseil pour nous proposer des promenades agréables.

Wonderful tour with wonderful driver
We had an amazing time traveling in Ladakh with our driver Tsewang Paldan. We booked 2 tours for a total of 5 days. First we went to Lamayuru and then to Tso Moriri lake, it was a perfect combination of cultural visits and natural wonders. The driver was very nice and he was also like a guide sharing a lot of information about the Ladakhi culture and history. Thanks to Tsewang for showing us his beautiful region with so much of enthusiasm, he made the whole experience very enjoyable. I recommend this to everyone.
Visit of Ladakh
Perfect: the driver was waiting for us at our hotel on time, which was not always the case on other trips to India. He was very careful and it reassured us because we were leaving for 4 days with him in remote areas. We had been so scared with the driver we had for our tour in Rajasthan. Our driver who spoke English explained the customs of Ladakh and introduced us to another culture.
Caring staff whom you can count on
Our trip didn't go exactly as planned because one person in our group suffered from AMS. We had only a short time in Ladakh and we really wanted to see Tso Moriri lake. This lake is at high altitude and the staff clearly told us that we needed to be very well acclimatized before starting this trip. I wish we had listened to this advice... but we are all young and in good shape so we thought it would be fine. We started driving from Leh in the morning, we stopped for lunch at Chumathang and reached Korzok in the middle of the afternoon. At that time, all of us were feeling perfectly fine. We were actually very excited about being there and we went for a walk along the shore of Tso Moriri enjoying the stunning view of the lake and the mountains. When we went back to the guesthouse, just relaxing and drinking tea, one of our friends started feeling headache. It was clearly the first symptom of mountain sickness but we thought and hoped that he would get better. After a few hours, after dinner, his headache was still there and he started vomiting. Our driver immediately decided to take him to lower altitude. He gave him oxygen and we all started driving back towards Leh in the middle of the night. When reaching Leh, back to lower altitude, my friend was feeling much better but the driver still insisted for him to go for a quick medical checkup. We stopped at the hospital and thankfully everything was fine, we could just check in again in our hotel in Leh and take a good rest. Later, Leh-Ladakh Taxi staff came to see us at our hotel to check the condition of our friend, that was very kind from them and we appreciated their caring attitude and professionalism in every situation.
Disappointed with services
We did a day tour to Pangong Tso and we were quite disappointed with the services provided. The driver arrived at our hotel in Leh 15 minutes late in the morning, making excuses that he couldn't find the address. On the way we stopped at several monasteries, but there are many steps and it was not a good option as we were also travelling with my 65 years old mother in law. Pangong lake is a nice spot and we enjoyed being there even though we couldn't spend as much time as we wanted to. During the day the driver didn't give much information.
Séjour au Ladakh
En septembre 2018, nous avons loué 2 fois un taxi et avons été très satisfaits. La 1ère fois, nous avons fait le circuit, d’une journée, de la vallée de l’Indus pour visiter plusieurs monastères et palais proches de Leh. Au monastère d’Hémis, si notre chauffeur n’avait pas été là pour nous dire qu’il y avait d’autres temples à visiter derrière le temple principal, nous serions passés à côté. La 2ème fois, nous sommes allés en direction de Lamayuru et le chauffeur était tout aussi sympathique. Il a même fait un détour par son village de Nimou et nous a offert un thé chez lui. Super accueil et souvenirs !

We enjoyed our trip to Ladakh, it was one of the best travels so far. The mountain landscapes are simply stunning and our driver Norbo made our trip even more special with his nice stories about growing up in Ladakh, his laughter and jokes. Throughout our journey Norbo made us feel that we were in safe hands. We are defintely going again with Leh Ladakh Taxi Driver for our next visit in Ladakh!
