Having 7 days (7D/6N) in Leh-Ladakh allows you to see all the main highlights of the region and some hidden gems along the way. The best possible itineraries are detailed in this page.
Itinerary #1 is the same itinerary as in Best of Leh-Ladakh tour package. After exploring Leh city for a day, this itinerary takes you for a 2-day Sham tour (driving up to Lamayuru) followed by a 3-day Nubra valley and Pangong lake tour.
Itinerary #2 is the quite similar to itinerary #1. The main difference is that with itinerary #2, you spend only one day in the Sham region so that you have more time in the Nubra valley to explore off-the-beaten-path places such as Turtuk village, Panamik hot spring and Yarab Tso lake. Both itineraries include the visit to Pangong lake with a night there at the end of the trip.
Itinerary #3 is the same itinerary as in Wild Leh-Ladakh tour package. After a day trip to Sham (driving up to Alchi), this itinerary takes you for an adventurous 4-day road trip loop from Leh covering Nubra valley, Pangong lake and Tso Moriri lake.
Itinerary #4 resembles itinerary #3 except that the Nuba-Pangong-Tso Moriri loop is done in 5 days and it includes Turtuk.
Itinerary #5 is composed of three 2-day tours covering three distinct areas of Ladakh. The first tour takes you to the Sham region (western Ladakh) with one night in Kargil. During this tour, you visit some of Ladakh's most popular monasteries (Alchi, Lamayuru, Likir, etc.) and other famous attractions such as Sangam, Gurdwara Pathar Sahib and the Magnetic Hill. The next tour takes you to the Nubra valley via Khardung La pass (5,602m) where you can discover Hunder sand dunes, Diskit gompa, Sumur, Panamik... The third tour takes you to Tso Moriri lake and you can spend one night in Korzok near the lake. On the way back to Leh, stop at Tso Kar lake, an exceptional spot for bird and wildlife enthusiasts.
