Great hotel in Kargil
For a night on our journey from Leh to Srinagar, we chose this hotel. The scenery was stunning, situated right on the riverbank. The room was spacious and spotless. Both the buffet dinner and breakfast were extensive and tasty. Also, it's conveniently close to the Kargil market. I highly recommend it!

Hotel Zojila Residency at Kargil
Hotel Zojila Residency in Kargil is a fantastic place to stay with excellent food options. It's conveniently situated in the heart of the market area. The staff, whether at the reception, restaurant, or housekeeping, is outstanding and very helpful. The breakfast pack, which included items like alu paratha, was a thoughtful touch. The rooms come in two types: city view and river view, with the latter being the best. They are spacious and equipped with all necessary amenities.

Nice hotel in Kargil by the Suru River
A suitable hotel for your stay in Kargil or while traveling from Leh to Srinagar or vice versa. The service, especially the in-room dining, is the best I've experienced so far. The room with a view of the riverbank is great, but it's uncertain if everyone will get this view. I encountered an issue with people partying until 2 in the morning, and the hotel staff seemed helpless despite my complaint. They don't readily allow outdoor seating for meals or breakfast, but with some negotiation, they may permit it, as was the case during our stay. The bathrooms, compared to the rooms, are not very spacious, and you may find it a bit challenging. Overall, it's a satisfactory stay and worth considering.

Amazing Hotel by the Suru River, Kargil
Our family stayed at this property for one night in Kargil, a stopover on our road trip from Leh to Srinagar. The hotel is conveniently a 5-minute walk from the main market area, perfectly situated on the banks of the Suru River. The rooms are generously large, neat, and clean. The bathroom is adequately spacious with a functioning hot water geyser. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV and a proper cable connection. The backside of the hotel offers a brilliant view of the Suru River and the mountains beyond.
We enjoyed a vegetarian dinner and breakfast at the hotel. All the dishes, including soup, vegetables, fried rice, dal, paratha, etc., were delicious. Across the road from the hotel, there's an excellent dry fruits store where we purchased walnuts and almonds at fairly reasonable prices. The only drawback was that the hotel's wifi was not working. Despite this minor issue, we had no other problems with the hotel. It's a fantastic place to stay, and I highly recommend it.
