Typical client reviews

Nice tented accommodation

This is the best camp where I stayed in Ladakh (better than the camps at Pangong lake). Tents were spacious and clean, hot water and good facilities. There is a small terrace in front of each tent where one can relax and enjoy the view of the garden. Good food and helpful staff. The owner is friendly. The Dha-Hanu valley is a must-visit place, off the beaten path. The camp is perfect to visit this area, including the Brokpa villages and Batalik a few kilometers from the border.

Best option in the area

We were very pleasantly surprised by this camp. There are not many accommodation options in the Dha-Hanu valley and Aryan Valley Camp is a good choice with comfortable tents and private bathroom. Rooms are clean, wifi available and excellent food served in the restaurant.

Ideal for adventure enthusiasts

My initial stay at this location happened entirely by chance, as there were no other options available at 10 pm in the night in the area called Dah Beema. Dah Beema is situated on the border areas of Kargil and, though a couple of mountains away from the actual border, the proximity adds an extra layer of amazement. Nestled on top of a small hillock, this place is quite off the regular Leh-Kargil Road. The owner, whose ancestors have Aryan roots, still carries some Aryan cultural elements, and he, along with his wife, shares stories of witnessing large-scale shelling and distant bullet shots during the Kargil war.
Finding this place can be a bit challenging for first-time visitors due to its distance from the main road, but the effort is worth it for the ultimate relaxation it offers. The road leading to the location runs parallel to the magnificent Indus river, and experiencing the beauty of this place is something you have to witness in person. The hospitality is remarkable, the food is fantastic, and the well-maintained tents add to the overall experience. Even though the toilets are located outside the tents, it's the last thing on your mind when you're in this remarkable place. Highly recommended for those who seek adventure and enjoy offbeat destinations.

Charming Aryan Valley Camp

Our stay at the Aryan Valley Camp in Dha-Hanu, Ladakh, was delightful. The tents are pleasant and spacious, although they lack ensuite toilets. Instead, there are separate toilet blocks with personal facilities for each group. The food provided is outstanding and ranks among the best I've had at that altitude. They even went the extra mile to prepare Chinese cuisine for us, along with banana fritters for dessert.
One remarkable aspect is our early departure at 5:00 am the next day. The manager ensured a full breakfast was served at that early hour, which was highly appreciated. The tents themselves are well-maintained, clean, and come with a small sitting area outside each one. It's definitely great value for money. While the camp could potentially be situated in a more scenic location given the surrounding beauty, the tall trees somewhat limit the view from the accommodations.

Fantastic family campsite

We discovered a delightful and friendly family campsite that offered the peace and tranquility we sought in this stunning part of Ladakh. Set in a great location with splendid views and warm, welcoming hosts! The food was excellent, and the service top-notch! The taxi journey from Leh to Aryan Valley Camp added another thrilling dimension to our experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my fellow travelers, and it's definitely earned a spot in my address book for places to revisit.
